Domaine Carneros Brut Rosé – 9.0 – James Meléndez / James the Wine Guy

Nothing like a sparkling Rosé–there is a nice variety out there and many very expensive.  This is a very difficult wine to make so when you see the final product you experience a wine that comes with great effort.  I say–“good things require great effort; great things require extraordinary touches.”   This wine with a delicate rose color gives notes of just picked raspberry, yeasty bread, almond and the scent from an orchard in Fall time.

¡Salud!

This is a very dry Riesling–much drier than expected; slight and delicate touches of Meyer lemon zest, toasted almond and white floral notes.  A acid profile aptly suited to food.
