Borthwick Wairarapa Pinot Noir – 2005 – 9.1 – James Meléndez / Jaime Patricio Meléndez

Borthwich Wairarapa Pinot Noir is a dynamic wine; a lovely wine typical of Wararapa; there is evenness; this wine is bold and yet delicate; the right amount of acid balances the bouquet of rose petal, mixed red berry coulis, truffle, and dried fall leaves, all touched with a Oaxacan simmering spice; the wine finishes with a superb and silken elegance.

¡Salud!
