This wine a rebula with a cause is expressive; deeply golden in color — a varietal that is found in neighbouring Italy and known as Ribolla Gialla. Very dry–low alcohol and high acid. A very nice example of Rebula and this is fermented with native yeast and has been held 3 years.
Dry; complex, highly differentiated from other white wines; while it’s coloration might suggest a relationship to Chardonnay and yet it is orbitals away from that varietal. Notes of winter pear, yellow citrus, white tea, nutmeg, cardamom, hint of butterscotch and almond.
