Cusumano Sicily Sagana – 2007 – 9.2 – James Meléndez / James the Wine Guy

This wine is completely and nothing but Nero de Avola.  If you thought Nero de Avola was a wine to have only with pizza or pasta then you might be mistaken.  This is a Sicilian steak wine; completely dark and complex—every taste lingers and develops.  This wine gives notes of wild blueberry, cardamom, white Italian truffle, slight scent of wood, smoke and suede.
