Marsanne – and I mean this positively—is like liquid marshmallows—not the highly manufactured ones but the ones that are chef created—the soft, slightly sweet flavor that has a lingering scent.  And that is Marsanne and that is this wine—soft delicate, wafting notes that linger—a sweetness of white flower petals, slight and nuanced orange citrus zest and biscuit.

Something you don’t see a lot of—Zinfandel from Santa Clara County—might also be fairly stated one does not see a lot wine period from Santa Clara County.

Well balanced and structured; rich and enveloping notes from crushed blueberry, smoke, nutmeg and cardamom, and finishing with a delicate lavender note.
