Mildiani Katsiteli Khakheti Republic of Georgia – 2006 – 8.9 – James Meléndez / James the Wine Guy

This is a heritage grape of the Republic of Georgia –for many milenia Georgia has produced wine.  This varietal is a widely produced wine in the Republic of Georgia.  This wine has 13.7% alcohol and moderate acid and this wine gives notes of Meyer lemon zest, nutmeg, winter spices, smoke, wood and  white pepper.

Mildiani Kakheti Savarapi – 2005 – 8.6 – James Meléndez / James the Wine Guy

This wine is rich in acid and gives notes of plum and subtle spice; an excellent wine to serve with Mexican, Indian or Marinara-based foods.
