Tormaresca Puglia Neprica Red Wine Blend – 2008 – 8.8 – James Meléndez / James the Wine Guy

Another exciting wine from Puglia, the boot heel of Italy.  This wine is 40% Negroamaro, 30% Primitivo, and 30% Cabernet Sauvignon.  This wine is a blissful experience and delicate balance of acid to alcohol (13.5%) and is without a doubt a splendid gift for serving with food.  And also this is perfect as a serve-alone wine.  This wine gives notes of delicate baking spices, concentrated brambled fruit (not a berry explosion), and gracious qualities of earth.
