Ecluse RENDITION is a Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre blend; a grand Rhône homage to Rhone reds. This wine presents boysenberry, cranberry, dried cocoa, and bursting fig.
¡Salud!

59% Syrah, 23% Grenache, 13% Mourvèdre & 5% Cinsault; the Syrah lead the varietals in giving definition and boldness. Drink this wine with a wonderful piece of steak or lamb. The wine contains structure. Firmness and beautiful tannins; the wine presents with dark red fruit, flint, underbrush and Italian truffle.
¡Salud!

This wine contains - 27% Grenache, 27% Mourvèdre, 25% Syrah, 13% Counoise & 8% Cinsault; a interesting wine that does not have; a predominate or grape that overwhelms the other varietals. This wine is sophisticated and bold and yet elegant; blackberry, plum, Morel mushroom.
¡Salud!

This is a Syrah, Carignane, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Cinsaut blend; an epic homage to Rhone varietals. And who would have thought that these grapes would be from Mendocino. This wine has an intense vibrancy, a depth and character that could not be found if it was a single varietal. This is a stellar wine; amazing depth; gorgeous silky tannins; dark red fruit Coulis, cinnamon quill, chocolate, Porcini, forest floor and leather. A wine that I pine to experience again.
¡Salud!

This is a nice and warm Bordeaux containing 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 70% Merlot, and 10% Petit Verdot; this wine is a nice balance of acid and tannin; abundant spice: marjoram, mint, cinnamon, roasted red plum, and smoke.

A dynamic Mourvedre; remarkably even; flavors that are near and dear and other that are distant and exotic. The candy apple is familial and then I get some wonderful herbaceous notes that transport me to Indian subcontinent; abundant cinnamon, curry, Italian black fig, and allspice.
