Dense and well developed tannins; proof of a very nice and well balanced Merlot. I was thinking it would be a lite style—instead this was proof positive of a Napa or even Bordeaux style Merlot. Confit of blueberry, blackberry, chocolate, fennel, smoke and white mushroom.
