Edward Sellers Blanc du Rhone White Blend Paso Robles – 2006 – 8.8 - James Meléndez / Jaime Patricio Meléndez

March 31, 2008

A well crafted bottle of white Rhone varietals - 46% Marsanne, 27% Viognier, 15% Roussanne & 12% Grenache Blanc; a very interesting blend—a delicious white wine; complex body: bold, soft and elegant; think smoke, spice, floral petals in a stream, passion fruit, baking spices.  A very lovely wine.

 ¡Salud!

Wellington Estate Marsanne – 2006 - 8.7 - James Meléndez / Jaime Patricio Meléndez

This wine is a nice bookend to Wellington’s other white Rhone varietal; grass, pale yellow, a slight scent of exotic flower.

 ¡Salud!
