Jackson-Triggs Niagara Peninsula Vidal Icewine – 2004 – 9.0 – James Meléndez / James the Wine Guy

A memorable Canadian ice wine and with a low alcohol content of 10.3% which is low for an after dinner wine. This wine exhibits New Mexico Pinon, truffle honey, guava, citron, and candied Valencia orange.

Karthauserhof Eitelbacher Karthauserhofberg Eiswein #55 – 9.3 – James Meléndez / James the Wine Guy

Viscous, creamy, nutty, and liquid gold. An amazing testament to wine making is German Eisweins. Truly a manna from heaven. If only we could enjoy it daily would this tame the human soul. Emotional… overly emotional? NO it is a fair and accurate testament to a brilliant wine.

Price at tasting: $115.99 (K&L Wine Merchants)
