This wine is predominately Pinot Noir 86% and Chardonnay 14% and presents with notes of strawberry, almond, and Adriatic fig.

Hartford Court Fog Dance Vineyard Sonoma County – Green Valley Pinot Noir – 2005 – 8.9 – James Meléndez /James the Wine Guy

Not my favourite Hartford Court Pinot Noir but still enjoyable. Love the vineyard name– what evocation.  Abundant acid; less vitreous than it’s Sonoma Coast Pinots.  This wine has characteristics of field mushroom, cherry, fallen leaves, and roasted red plum.
