Reilly’s Old Bushvine Clare Valley Grenache – 2005 – 8.7 – James Meléndez /James the Wine Guy

This Grenache is hot; not hot from spice but from it’s base of 15% alcohol.  This wine goes quickly from Boysenberry, raspberry to strawberry and the middle taste is pepper and finally ends in heat.  If this wine was 14.5% one would taste a different set of flavors.
