This wine contains - 27% Grenache, 27% Mourvèdre, 25% Syrah, 13% Counoise & 8% Cinsault; a interesting wine that does not have; a predominate or grape that overwhelms the other varietals. This wine is sophisticated and bold and yet elegant; blackberry, plum, Morel mushroom.
¡Salud!

This is a Syrah, Carignane, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Cinsaut blend; an epic homage to Rhone varietals. And who would have thought that these grapes would be from Mendocino. This wine has an intense vibrancy, a depth and character that could not be found if it was a single varietal. This is a stellar wine; amazing depth; gorgeous silky tannins; dark red fruit Coulis, cinnamon quill, chocolate, Porcini, forest floor and leather. A wine that I pine to experience again.
¡Salud!
