J. Heinrich Burgenland Cuvée Terra-o Red Blend – 2007 – 9.1 – James Meléndez / James the Wine Guy

This wine is a blend of Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah.  Complex and muscular; bringing together notes of seared red pear, plum, almond-Brazil nut, cardamom, chile Ancho and vanilla.

This wine ranks slightly higher in it’s point citation and it is the latest vintage. Interesting how that happens.  Notes of green Pluot, green citrus, early season fennel and white pepper.
