Sierra Cantabria Organza Rioja White Blend – 2009 – 9.2 – James Meléndez / James the Wine Guy

This wine is a blend of Viura, Malvasia, and Garnacha Blanca (Grenache Blanc); fresh, clean, focused and elegant.  This dry wine imparts notes of freshly sliced Apricot, Honeydew melon and blood orange peel, and pine nut.

The producer doesn’t state which varietals compose this blend—all we know is this is a Rhone blend.  Various bramble berry notes, vanilla, cardamom and scent of wood pile, smoke and summer garden.
