This wine from the Kerner grape is a varietal that is hard to find but you can this grape from this appellation. Higher in alcohol 14.5% and lower in acidity—heavier than a Riesling—one of it’s brethren hybrid constituents but lighter than a wooded Chardonnay. This wine gives notes of crushed Granny smith apple, Kadota fig, anise, fresh mid-summer herbs.
