May 29, 2008While I am disappointed with Melville’s current Pinot Noir vintage; I thought this Chardonnay was strikingly bold and distinct; truffled honey, sweet lime zest, Oyster mushroom, and hazelnut.

Wine Review: Pride Mountain Napa Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon – 2005 - 9.0 - James Meléndez / Jaime Patricio Meléndez
May 29, 2008This is a blend of 91% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Petit Verdot. A very nice Cabernet Sauvignon; the Petit Vedot adds to the complexity of this wine; this wine gives a great homage to both counties; an interesting nose to toast, Heirloom tomato, earth, chocolate-cinnamon.
