Page Mill Winery in Livermore Valley is by far the cutest little winery there… they were playing Jazz and the interior is a solid and evocative environment for wine and enjoyment. The personnel are very nice. I like Page Mill because they get their grapes from some of the best appellations in California. This is a nice and earthy Pinot Noir; the moist soil, Black Trumpet mushroom, rose petal, Pasilla chile, cinnamon and hint of nutmet. This wine has great complexity and a luxuriant feel from start to finish. 275 cases.
