A completely satisfying bottle of dry Riesling but cuts with superb acid, wonderful floral and fruit and low alcohol (12.5%) this wine has complex notes of Comice pear, nutmeg, lime zest and green apple. A superb wine that is perfect with food but equally perfect as a stand-alone wine.
¡Salud!
Purchased: Bi-Rite - $14.99

A brilliantly clean, remarkable acid; this wine exhibits pleasing floral packets that deliver and consistently, wondrous baking spice, blood orange zest, and sliced green apple. A wonderfully complex wine that could be a stand-alone wine or perfect with your starting dishes.
¡Salud!

A super dense and inky wine; boysenberry, blueberry, dried fig, leather, and winter spices. A well defined wine.
¡Salud!

A gorgeous bottle of Pinot Noir; the beautiful vitreous color magnifies the rose petal, minerals in a stream, Porcini mushroom, baked red plum, and Eastern simmering spices. A beautiful Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir.
¡Salud!

This wine consists of 45% Malbec, 35% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Syrah; each varietal works in harmony and allows for a rich and bold structure; superb confidence and such a compelling wine for beef.
This wine exhibits Black Trumpet Mushroom, fall leaves, bespoke black-red fruit Coulis, Fall baking spices, chocolate and leather.
Certainly a wine with plenitude of gorgeous and full tannins.
¡Salud!

Barlow’s core strength is in their Cabernet Sauvignon; While I liked their Zinfandel it was not the highlight of the Barlows wines I tasted. This wine gives cranberry, cassis, pimento and cedar forest.
¡Salud!

Tarantas Cabernet-Sauvignon Tempranillo I picked up at Whole Foods; the bottle’s label - especially the front label looks great but does not have a lot of information; forget about a varietal breakdown.
This wine is very dry; think black fig, red pepper, and dried plum. Not as satisfying as I had hoped–the wine was quite vitreous and did not have the bold tannins I had imagined.
¡Salud!
